Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Transfer V2 two-bike platform rack right here on our 2017 Hyundai Accent. So the Kuat Transfer V2 is gonna be the easiest bike rack to use. It has the easiest lever system and the easiest mounting and dismounting of your bike rack because of its unique goalpost design. So when you have two bikes up on there, you can step into here, put the first bike on, strap that down, and then go over here and you put the second bike on. You don't have to reach around the first one in order to access the second one, things like that. more

So the Swagman Chinook is gonna be your best option when it comes to your heavier bikes. Even though your Hyundai Accent has a Class 1 hitch, you'll still be able to carry a heavy bikes up to 45 pounds with this bike rack. Today on our 2015 Hyundai Accent, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Vertex 4 Bike Rack, Hanging Style. That part number is TH9029XT. Now I have a bike on our rack, and our rack hooked to our vehicle. So going to show you a few things on the bike rack itself. The first thing I have to tell you is this: this is a four-bike rack, we're using a Class 1 hitch; it can only carry two bikes, just to let you know that first. So, how our bike is strapped down. Today on our 2015 Hyundai Accent, we are doing a test fit of the Saris Freedom Superclamp 2 Bike Rack Platform Style. That part number is SA4025. I have a bike on our rack and I have the rack hooked up to the car. I am just going to show you a few things. How our bike is clamped down, we have frame hooks in the front and we have a frame hook in the back. We have the wheel cradles. The back wheel cradle has a strap that is holding down the back wheels so we are going to take that off first. more

Thule Vertex 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Hyundai Accent- Video
Today on our 2013 Honda Accent we'll be test-fitting the Thule Vertex hitch mountain bike carrier part number Th9029. To mount this carrier to our vehicle, we'll insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll line up our hitch pinholes, thread in our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down using a wrench. We want to make sure that we can open the trunk completely and access the cargo area even with the bike rack installed. We'll grab the switch at the top of the bike rack to fold the arms out. We'll undo the rubber straps of the cradles closest to the vehicle and then we'll grab our bike. more

Swagman Titan Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Hyundai Accent- Video
Today on our 2013 Hyundai Accent, we'll be test fitting the Swagman Titan 4-Bike Carrier, Part Number S63410. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, align up our pinholes and thread our anti-rattle bolt through the threaded pinholes and tighten with a wrench. It's important to note that when installing this accessory with a Class 1 hitch, the maximum number of bikes that you can load is two. To access the trunk of the car, we'll lift up the handle located at the base of the carrier and tilt the carrier down. This will allow you to have access to the trunk of your vehicle. To load the bike, first make sure that the mast is in the upright position. Lift the handle located at the top of the mast, fold the cradle arms toward you and undo the cradle straps. Now, you can sit the bike on to the frame and secure it with the cradle straps. Now, lets go over some clearance measurements to see how the bike carrier and this vehicle fit together. There is about 9 inches of ground clearance and the closest part of the vehicle to the closest part of the carrier is about ten inches.This concludes todays test fit of the Swagman Titan 4-Bike Carrier, Part Number S63410 on our 2013 Hyundai Accent. more

Hollywood Racks Sport Rider Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 Hyundai Accent- Video
Today on our 2013 Hyundai Accent, we will be test fitting the Hollywood Rack Sport Rider Platform-style Tilting Bike Carrier, Part Number HR1000-1g. To begin our test fit, we will slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch. We need to make sure that we align our pinholes and then we can thread our anti-rattle bolt through the pinholes and tighten with a wrench. Lets get some of the clearance measurements to see how this bike carrier and this vehicle fit together. We have about 9 inches of ground clearance. The closest part of the vehicle to the closest part of the carrier is about 1.5 inches. We have added about 22-1/2 inches to the overall length of the vehicle when the rack is folded up. You can also access the cargo area with this bike rack on the car. more

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Accent, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Hitching Post hitch mounted bike carrier, part number TH934XTR. To mount the carrier to our vehicle, we need to insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll make sure that we line up the hitch pin hole. Today on our 2013 Hyundai Accent, we're going to be test fitting the Thule double-track platform-style bike rack, part number TH990XT. To install the bike rack into the hitch, we're going to need to take the shank of the rack and slide it into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll line up the hitch pin hole with the hole in the shank of the bike rack, and install our threaded anti-rattle pin. With the bike rack now installed on the vehicle, we can go ahead and give you a couple of measurements. With the rack in the folded position, we have a ground clearance of 8". We have a measurement of about 1" from the outermost part of the bumper to the bike rack. more

Today on this 2013 Hyundai Accent, we are going to do a test for the part number S102, the Kuat Sherpa Hitch Bike Rack. To begin our test fit, we will slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch and turn the black handle located at the base of the carrier to engage our anti-lateral device. Now, let us go over some clearance measurements, to see how the bike carrier and the vehicle will fit together. There are about 9 inches of ground clearance. The closest part of the vehicle to the closest part of the bike rack is about 1 inch. We have added about 11.5 inches to the overall length of the vehicle with the bike rack folded. more

Today on our 2011 Hyundai Accent well be test fitting the Thule Hitching Post Pro, part number TH934XTR. To begin our test fit we'll simply install the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole and insert and tighten down our anti-rattle bolt. That will secure our bike rack to the vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the back of the bike rack is eight inches, and from the closet point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is six inches. We'll now go ahead and open our trunk. more

Swagman Titan Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2011 Hyundai Accent- Video
Today on 2011 Hyundai Accent well be test fitting the Swagman Titan 4-Bike carrier part number S63410. This bike rack will work with both 1 -inch and with the included adapter 2-inch hitches. Please note, when using with a class 1 hitch, you are limited to two bikes. With our vehicle equipped with 1 -inch hitch, we removed the adapter and were ready to fit it to the vehicle. Well slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pinhole and insert our anti-rattle bolt. With our bolt tight, we can put the pin in on the other side which will secure our bike rack to the vehicle. more

SportRack EZ Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2011 Hyundai Accent- Video
Today, we're going to show you how the SportRack 2 Bike EZ Mounted Platform-Style Bike Carrier looks and fits on our 2011 Hyundai Accent. The Accent that we're working with today has an aftermarket class 1 draw-tight trailer hitch on it so we've gone ahead and removed the 2-inch adapter bushing that come provided with the bike carrier. So the first thing we'll be going to show you is how to install the bike rack into the trailer hitch, and to do that, we simply take the shank of the bike rack, insert it inside the receiver of the trailer hitch, align the threaded hole in the bike shank with the pin hole in the receiver hitch, and install the anti-sway bolt. The anti-sway bolt not only provides security to hold the bike rack into the trailer hitch but also takes all the sway and rattles out of the bike rack/receiver hitch combination. Now, with the bike rack is currently into the folded up position and even in this folded up position, we do still have full access to our trunk here. When we're ready to go ahead and use it to carry your bike, we can go ahead and fold it down and we do that by simply releasing the pins here on the sides and reinserting them to hold them into place. more

Thule Doubletrack Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2011 Hyundai Accent- Video
Today we're going to show you how the Thule Doubletrack Platform-Style Bike Carrier, product number TH990XT looks and fits on our 2011 Hyundai Accent. The Accent that we're working with today has an aftermarket class 1 Draw Tite Trailer Hitch on it so we've gone ahead and removed the 2-inch adapter bushing from our bike carrier and we're ready to install it. You can see that the anti-sway bolt not only provides security to keep the bike rack inside the trailer hitch but also it takes all of the rattle out of the bike rack trailer hitch combination. With the bike rack now installed we've got 8 inches of clearance in between the lowest point of the bike rack and the ground. And we've got right about 5 inches of clearance in between the tire cradle and the rear of the trunk. more

Rhode Gear Highway Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2011 Hyundai Accent- Video
Today, we're going to show you how the Rhode Gear Highway 2 Bike Carrier, product number RG8015220 looks and fits on our 2011 Hyundai Accent. Our Hyundai Accent here is equipped with an aftermarket class 1 draw-tight trailer hitch on it. We've gone ahead and remove the 2-inch pushing adapter that comes and sold along the bike rack. When you're ready to install the bike rack, you simply take the shank into the bike rack and go ahead and insert it inside the receiver of the trailer hitch. Go ahead and align the threaded hole in the bike rack with the pin hole in the trailer hitch, and install the anti-sway bolt. You can see the anti-sway bolt, not only for bike security to keep the bike rack inside the trailer hitch, but also works to eliminate the sway and rattle in the bike rack hitch combination. more
